JOB TITLE: Aircraft Quality Inspector
LOCATION: Wichita, KS
PAY RATE: $27-30/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-time | Variable shifts (must be available for 1st 3rd shift)
Overtime: As needed, including rotating weekend schedules (every other weekend required; schedule flexibility available)

Summary:
Verify product conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Provide objective evidence of inspection and verification results through accurate documentation and reporting.
Perform audits, surveillance, and monitoring activities throughout the manufacturing and inspection process.
Identify, document, and process discrepancies using non-conformance reporting systems.
Segregate, track, and control non-conforming materials or components to prevent quality escapes.
Review and support rework dispositions to ensure corrective actions meet engineering and quality standards.
Assist with product and process verification reviews alongside internal customers and cross-functional teams.
Conduct inspections on aircraft or aviation-related products to ensure compliance with operational and quality expectations.
Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams to support issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
Experience as an aviation/aircraft mechanic (general aircraft experience accepted; military background not required).
Prior inspection experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or related environments.
Ability to interpret engineering requirements and identify product discrepancies.
Strong attention to detail and ability to document inspection findings accurately.
Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
