Maintenance Technician – PDS Tech Commercial

Pay Rate: $32.98/hr

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, preventative maintenance programs, and facility operations while helping maintain safe and efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment using manuals, schematics, and blueprints

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues

• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections

• Calibrate and adjust machine tools and production equipment

• Modify machines and equipment for specialized production functions

• Perform minor building maintenance, including plumbing and electrical tasks

• Maintain technical documentation and spare parts inventory

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment using 5S principles

• Use hand tools, torque wrenches, impact tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment

• Support continuous equipment uptime and production efficiency

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on maintenance experience

• Experience using:

  • Torque wrenches

  • Basic hand and power tools

  • Measuring tools

  • Multi-meters and electrical diagnostic equipment

• Ability to pass mobile equipment testing

• Willingness to complete additional training including:

  • Mobile equipment

  • Confined space

  • High voltage

  • Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic diagrams, and electrical schematics

• Experience with furnaces and induction equipment

• HVAC experience preferred

• Experience using cutting torches and basic welding equipment
