Client-facing Aviation Program Manager to lead product development and production programs, delivering technical solutions and presenting results to customers throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead product development and production programs with aviation customers
Serve as primary client contact; present technical updates, prototypes, and results
Review contracts/POs with internal teams to align scope and deliverables
Gather customer requirements and translate into executable plans
Manage schedules, milestones, and Gantt charts
Coordinate with engineering/manufacturing on lead times and risk assessments
Drive meetings, track action items, and maintain clear communication with customers
Support manufacturing, materials, processes, and supply chain optimization
Assist with procurement and bill of materials for production readiness
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer support efforts
Ensure quality compliance and required documentation (AS9100, DV&T)
Represent company at customer meetings, workshops, and industry events
Monitor program budgets and support invoicing
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Business or Technical discipline)
5+ years program/project management experience
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/schematics
Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Preferred
Aerospace or thermal-mechanical product development experience
Experience with air/spaceborne platforms
Knowledge of manufacturing (CNC, brazing, welding, etc.)
