PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading company in the aerospace industry to hire a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support critical warehouse and logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you’ll help ensure aerospace materials and components are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Your work directly impacts production schedules, customer satisfaction, and the delivery of high-quality aerospace products.
This is a 100% onsite position with opportunities for career growth and overtime availability.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support daily warehouse operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely shipments of aerospace materials and components.
Receiving
Receive vendor purchase orders and verify carton counts against Airway Bills and Bills of Lading
Process purchase orders in SAP
Bag, label, and organize incoming aerospace materials and components
Match goods receipt documentation to incoming inventory
Stocking
Stock inventory using handheld scanners in accordance with warehouse procedures
Select proper storage locations for standard and oversized materials
Maintain organized, accurate, and compliant inventory storage
Picking
Pick delivery orders by priority using handheld scanners
Ensure correct aerospace parts and quantities are selected for shipment
Prioritize workloads to maximize efficiency and meet customer deadlines
Packing & Shipping
Pack shipments both physically and systematically within SAP
Select proper packaging materials to protect sensitive aerospace components during transit
Ship materials according to customer priorities and warehouse procedures
Support urgent and time-sensitive shipments to meet critical aerospace delivery schedules
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain accurate warehouse records, forms, and inventory documentation
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and cherry pickers
Support compliance with FTZ regulations and warehouse safety procedures
Provide excellent customer service to internal teams, transportation providers, and external customers
Assist with additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Good customer service and teamwork abilities
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a physically active warehouse environment, including standing, walking, squatting, and kneeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using SAP
Previous aerospace, manufacturing, or high-volume warehouse experience
Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, or other material handling equipment
Knowledge of warehouse inventory control procedures and shipping operations
Familiarity with safety standards and PPE requirements in manufacturing or aerospace environments
