PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced Integration Tool Engineer / Project Management Professional to support our partnership with a leader in the aviation and defense industry in El Segundo, California. In this role, you’ll help manage tooling programs essential to aircraft component manufacturing, ensuring projects stay aligned to cost, schedule, and technical objectives. Your leadership and coordination skills will directly contribute to mission-critical aerospace programs.
What You’ll Do
As an Integration Tool Engineer / Project Management professional, you will oversee tooling scopes of work while supporting Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities across multiple programs. Key responsibilities include:
Learn and understand the engineering and technical aspects of tooling used to manufacture aircraft components
Coordinate with cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals
Manage multiple tooling projects involving in-house and offsite fabrication teams
Perform Control Account Management (CAM) duties and support program execution
Track budgets, forecasts, actual costs, and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics
Update EVM systems and generate required cost/schedule performance reports
Review monthly earned value data and provide account status updates
Coordinate with scheduling teams to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Provide weekly IMS updates, attend status meetings, and support stakeholder reviews
Process change requests in partnership with business management and scheduling teams
Support logistics planning, staffing forecasts, and resource requirements
Lead internal meetings to align staffing with approved baselines
Perform schedule risk assessments and help mitigate cost or timeline risks
Monitor project execution including requirements traceability, SOW breakdowns, action item tracking, and leadership presentations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization
Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior aerospace, aviation, or defense industry experience
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) systems
Experience with Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities
Project management experience in engineering or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with tooling design, fabrication, or manufacturing operations
Strong analytical and financial forecasting skills

Pay Details: $31.43 per hour
