PDS Tech Commercial is hiring skilled professionals for the role of Integral Fuel Cell Assembly Technician in partnership with a leader in the aviation industry in San Antonio, TX. What You’ll Do

As an Integral Fuel Cell Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in aircraft production and system installation. Responsibilities include:

• Read, interpret, and follow technical work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Assemble and install structural parts, sub-assemblies, and major wing components
• Perform sealing, plumbing, and electrical component installation on aircraft assemblies
• Work on both composite and metal aircraft structures
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, rivet guns, drills, crimpers, and specialized assembly equipment
• Apply lubricants, solvents, sealants, primers, adhesives, coatings, and finishes as required
• Inspect completed work for quality and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) compliance
• Operate mechanical lifts such as scissor lifts and elevated work platforms
• Use computers in a production environment for work instructions and documentation
• Work inside wing fuel cells and confined spaces for extended periods while maintaining safety and precision

Required Qualifications

• Ability to access and enter wing fuel tank openings approximately 18" x 10"
• Minimum 1 year of experience using hand-held power tools
• Minimum 1 year of experience following written and verbal instructions
• Ability and willingness to work variable shifts (1st or 2nd shift) based on business need
• Reliable attendance and commitment to schedule requirements
• Ability to meet physical demands including climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, crawling, and working in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in assembly or mechanical work
• 1+ year operating heavy equipment
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, robotics, manufacturing, or military environments
• Enrollment in a manufacturing-related high school, community college, or technical program

Schedule & Pay

• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Assignment)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with variable 1st and 2nd shifts based on business needs
• Pay Rate: $43.05/hour (Includes $37.96 base pay + $5.09 Health & Welfare benefit)
• Work Environment: 100% Onsite
