PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace industry innovator to hire skilled and motivated Aircraft Structures Assemblers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the structural installation and assembly of aircraft components and major structures within assigned production stations. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will directly support aircraft quality, safety, and performance.
What You’ll Do
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Perform structural installation and assembly of aircraft parts and major components
Position and assemble components according to engineering drawings and production orders
Perform repair work related to concessions and discrepancies
Rework external aircraft skin damage as required
Review and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings
Follow production orders, inspection procedures, and design specifications
Prepare workstations and tools for daily production activities
Identify, document, and follow up on production or assembly issues
Use drilling tools, templates, fasteners, torque tools, and precision measurement equipment
Maintain compliance with station safety standards, OSHA regulations, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention practices
Utilize SAP and Excel to enter, retrieve, and track production information
Support additional production tasks and assignments as needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation production or related manufacturing environments such as:
Shipbuilding
Heavy machinery
Automotive manufacturing
Military aviation
MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)
Experience using drilling tools, templates, riveting equipment, fasteners, and torqueing tools
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics
Experience with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and dial indicators
Understanding of torque specifications and assembly procedures
Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (S) in manufacturing environments
Experience documenting completed work and supporting quality control processes
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills including SAP and Excel
Training Requirements
Selected candidates must successfully complete provided training including:

General Aircraft Familiarization
Quality Training
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of aviation production or related manufacturing experience
Vocational or technical school training in aircraft assembly or application techniques
Technology certification from a post-secondary institution or previous employer
Previous sheet metal fabrication experience including cutting, bending, riveting, and deburring
Physical Requirements
This role requires hands-on work in active aerospace manufacturing environments.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs./14kgs
Ability to stand for extended periods during assembly operations
Ability to squat, kneel, walk, and maneuver throughout production areas
Ability to work around aircraft, flight lines, and outdoor environments as needed
Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion
Ability to read engineering drawings, computer screens, and technical documentation daily
