In this senior-level role, you will serve as a key integration focal, leading cross-functional engineering efforts that directly impact aircraft certification and entry into service.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead and coordinate system integration efforts across multiple engineering disciplines by:

  • Driving special projects to advance system maturity toward 777-9 Amended Type Certification (ATC) and Entry Into Service (EIS)
  • Defining, decomposing, and managing system requirements, including traceability and verification planning
  • Leading cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment across subsystems and suppliers
  • Overseeing system architecture optimization, balancing safety, reliability, cost, maintainability, and certification requirements
  • Identifying and managing technical risks, issues, and opportunities, and leading mitigation strategies
  • Conducting detailed investigations and verification activities to ensure compliance with certification standards
  • Communicating with executive leadership, internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to align on technical direction and program status

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • 15+ years of experience in complex engineering or system integration
  • 8+ years of experience leading or managing complex engineering projects
  • 5+ years of experience building relationships with senior stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with transport-category aircraft 
  • 5+ years of experience with aircraft certification and regulatory processes (FAA or international)
  • Proven experience leading major design changes across the product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and certification compliance
  • Project management experience (PMBOK or similar frameworks)

Pay Details: $81.39 per hour
