Structural Analysis Engineer

As a Structural Analysis Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Leading the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to support system design
Coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams to define environmental and operational conditions for products
Verifying structural integrity using hand calculations, finite element models, simulations, and advanced analysis tools
Guiding product design decisions by evaluating structural characteristics and performance throughout the product lifecycle
Developing test plans and configurations to validate systems and components against requirements
Supporting test execution and analyzing results to verify performance and compliance
Documenting certification and test outcomes for customers and regulatory agencies
Leading investigations into in-service failures and recommending structural improvements
Developing new analytical tools and processes to improve engineering quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
Working independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced engineering environment
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field (ABET preferred, but not required)
10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience
8+ years of experience analyzing primary structures, subsystems, or weapons systems in the aerospace industry
Experience performing hand calculations and structural assessments
Proficiency with industry CAD systems such as PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, or CATIA/ENOVIA
Experience using FEM software such as PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks, or Abaqus
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advanced aerospace structural analysis tools such as CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, or Common Structures Workstation
Prior experience supporting complex aircraft or defense aviation programs
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
