What You’ll Do

As a Structural Analysis Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to support system design

• Coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams to define environmental and operational conditions for products

• Verifying structural integrity using hand calculations, finite element models, simulations, and advanced analysis tools

• Guiding product design decisions by evaluating structural characteristics and performance throughout the product lifecycle

• Developing test plans and configurations to validate systems and components against requirements

• Supporting test execution and analyzing results to verify performance and compliance

• Documenting certification and test outcomes for customers and regulatory agencies

• Leading investigations into in-service failures and recommending structural improvements

• Developing new analytical tools and processes to improve engineering quality, efficiency, and effectiveness

• Working independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced engineering environment

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field (ABET preferred, but not required)

• 10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience

• 8+ years of experience analyzing primary structures, subsystems, or weapons systems in the aerospace industry

• Experience performing hand calculations and structural assessments

• Proficiency with industry CAD systems such as PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, or CATIA/ENOVIA

• Experience using FEM software such as PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks, or Abaqus

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced aerospace structural analysis tools such as CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, or Common Structures Workstation

• Prior experience supporting complex aircraft or defense aviation programs

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Pay Rate: Starting at $71.61 per hour

• Work Environment: 100% Onsite
