π Join a cutting-edge aerospace and defense program supporting tactical aircraft flight testing and mission-critical system evaluations. We are seeking a highly experienced Test & Evaluation Engineer to lead flight test planning, execution, control room operations, and aircraft test activities in support of advanced military aircraft programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Flight Test professional with strong Test Conductor experience, tactical aircraft testing knowledge, and the ability to support complex flight operations from planning through execution and reporting.
π₯ Key Responsibilities
β Lead aircraft ground and flight test planning and execution activities
β Develop detailed test procedures, instrumentation setups, and configuration definitions
β Conduct system-level lab, ground, and flight testing operations
β Support flight test control room operations and mission execution
β Review and validate flight test data, including off-nominal conditions
β Prepare and publish detailed test reports and present findings to leadership
β Coordinate with flight operations, instrumentation, systems, fabrication, and engineering teams
β Support software/system verification and risk reduction activities
β Archive test data and documentation
β Mentor and guide junior Test Conductors and engineering personnel
β Basic Qualifications
β Bachelorβs Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field
β 9+ years of related engineering or flight test experience
β 5+ years supporting flight test operations or flight test principles
β 5+ years planning and conducting system-level lab, ground, or flight testing
β 100+ hours of Control Room experience as a Test Conductor
β Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
β U.S. Citizenship required
β Preferred Skills
β Tactical aircraft flight testing experience
β Experience interfacing with customers and senior program leadership
β Experience developing detailed test points from system-level requirements
β Strong test planning, execution, reporting, and verification background
β Experience supporting military or DoD aircraft programs
β Strong communication and leadership skills within fast-paced test environments
