JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspection - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $37.46/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Inspect in-process and completed products using predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications

Perform visual inspections of electronic units, subsystems, electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, and subassemblies

Identify structural flaws, internal defects, missing welds, and other quality concerns

Use measuring devices and inspection tools including scales, micrometers, and torque tools

Accept, reject, or recommend rework for defective or malfunctioning units and systems

Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, inspection instructions, and checklists

Support statistical process control and other quality control procedures as required

Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a security clearance

High School Diploma or GED required

Inspection experience using scales, micrometers, torque tools, and related inspection equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions

Experience with SAP and/or VECAMS preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office applications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
