Pay Rate Starting at : $36.55 per hour
Your Impact
As an Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician, you’ll support the USAF Reserve Unit maintaining the MH-139 Grey Wolf helicopter fleet. Your work will directly contribute to aircraft readiness, safety, and operational success by diagnosing, repairing, testing, and modifying critical systems and components.
What You’ll Do
Assemble, disassemble, modify, and overhaul aerospace vehicle systems and components
Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems
Diagnose faults and complete repairs on aircraft and bench test equipment
Perform validation, verification, functional, electrical, and final testing of systems and subassemblies
Remove, install, and configure mission systems, navigation systems, fire control systems, and related equipment
Execute configuration changes based on mission requirements
Support maintenance, inspection, fabrication, and modification of aircraft systems
Conduct explosive operations including loading, unloading, arming, and safing munitions and pyrotechnics
Inspect completed work to ensure flight worthiness and compliance standards
Maintain tools, clean work areas, and complete documentation accurately
Support team training and mentorship activities
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of related aerospace, aviation maintenance, or military aircraft experience
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Ability to read and follow technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety/compliance
Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Prior military helicopter maintenance experience highly preferred
Experience working on MH-139 Grey Wolf or similar rotary-wing aircraft
USAF or military aviation maintenance background
Weapons systems maintenance experience
Avionics or electromechanical systems expertise
Vocational training, Associate degree, or additional technical certifications

Pay Details: $36.55 per hour
