PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – POWER THE FUTURE OF AVIATION SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE

ROLE SUMMARY & IMPACT

In this entry-level procurement role, you will support end-to-end purchasing activities that directly impact production schedules and supply chain efficiency. You’ll collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of critical parts and materials. Your attention to detail and proactive communication will help maintain continuity in a fast-paced aerospace environment where precision and reliability matter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and manage purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Obtain and track supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor deliveries and proactively expedite late or at-risk orders
• Update PO delivery dates and maintain accurate system records
• Document detailed notes in SAP, Pelico, and other business systems
• Participate in supplier and internal operations meetings as needed
• Support supply chain and procurement initiatives as assigned
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues quickly and effectively

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or related field)
• 0–1 years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to work on-site in Chula Vista, CA Monday–Thursday with remote Fridays
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to change
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
