JOB TITLE: Aerospace Systems Technician (Entry Level) - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Heath, OH
PAY RATE: $29/hour

Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary:
Assist with disassembly of system components to support failure correction and implementation of design changes
Support basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair components
Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
Fabricate and modify aerospace products in accordance with engineering specifications
Assist with tasks related to the safe handling of aerospace vehicles (e.g., jacking, towing, and system operations)
Follow standard work instructions and safety procedures while working under supervision
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a security clearance after hire
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work off-shift schedules (2nd/3rd shift)
Minimum of 1 year of experience using tools and following work instructions
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other hazardous materials as required
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
Minimum of 1 year of experience in soldering and assembling equipment components
Experience using handheld and/or power tools
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications
Experience working under a microscope
