Customer Relations Specialist – Aviation Aftermarket & Customer Support

Wichita, KS | $32–$35/hr | Full-Time Consultant (4-Month Contract) | Mon–Fri (7:30–4:00 Schedule)

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in aviation to hire a Customer Relations Specialist who will play a critical role in supporting high-visibility customer engagements, aftermarket operations, and fleet readiness. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where precision, communication, and aviation knowledge directly impact aircraft availability and customer satisfaction.


Role Summary & Impact

In this position, you will serve as a key liaison between customers, executive leadership, and internal engineering and supply chain teams. You’ll support aftermarket quoting, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) needs, and spares coordination while ensuring customers receive timely, accurate, and high-quality service.

Your work directly supports fleet readiness and operational continuity for one of the most recognized names in aviation, Boeing, helping ensure aircraft stay flying and customers remain fully supported across critical operations, events, and service commitments.


What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

  • Support customer engagements including air shows, trade shows, conferences, product demos, and special aviation events
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal executive and program teams
  • Manage and track budgets, promotional materials, and event logistics
  • Coordinate agendas and execution plans for customer visits and demonstrations
  • Work within quoting systems to process aftermarket requests and spares quotes
  • Determine production status and verify availability of replacement parts
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers (MEs) on spare configurations and make/buy decisions
  • Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and urgent spares requirements to ensure rapid response
  • Ensure all deliverables align with customer commitments, schedules, ethics standards, and compliance requirements
  • Provide ongoing administrative and operational support for aftermarket customer service activities

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of customer service or customer-facing support experience
  • Aerospace industry experience or a relevant degree combined with strong customer service background
  • Experience working in complex, detail-driven environments
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface professionally with customers and executive leadership
  • Must be comfortable working in quoting systems and aftermarket processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in aerospace aftermarket or spares support
  • Familiarity with AOG (Aircraft on Ground) processes
  • Experience supporting production status tracking or supply chain coordination
  • Exposure to engineering or manufacturing coordination (make/buy decisions, spare configurations)
  • Experience in customer event planning or aviation marketing support

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
