PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support our partnership with a leader in the aviation industry in Hazelwood, MO. Position Details

• Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
• Job Type: Contract (12 Months)
• Location: Hazelwood, MO
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: Starting at $52.35 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies to support manufacturing operations
• Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to deliver technical solutions across multiple disciplines
• Create and maintain manufacturing architecture and build plans
• Lead implementation of manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, and work instructions
• Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capability meets requirements
• Evaluate design/build concepts to improve manufacturability and efficiency
• Resolve technical issues impacting production performance, cost, or schedule
• Coordinate implementation of new engineering principles, technologies, and advanced concepts
• Validate production readiness for solutions to complex manufacturing challenges
• Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Support documentation of producibility best practices for future programs

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following:
  • Engineering
  • Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology)
  • Computer Science
  • Data Science
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Or directly related equivalent non-U.S. qualification
• Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining:
  • Manufacturing plans
  • Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Work instructions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
• Experience with 3D model-based work instructions
• Experience using one or more of the following systems/tools:
  • Siemens NX
  • IVT
  • CREO
  • CATIA
  • MES
  • Gold
  • PrimeR
  • Aurora
  • VisVSA
  • DELMIA
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci)
• Experience reviewing and approving engineering work such as installation plans, tool orders, or line stock checks
