PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician to support our partnership with a leader in the aviation industry in Heath, OH. In this role, you’ll assist with the repair, modification, testing, and fabrication of aerospace systems and components. Your work will directly support quality, performance, and reliability in a highly specialized industry where precision matters every day.

Position Details

• Job Title: Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician
• Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
• Location: Heath, OH
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | Second Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Pay Rate Starting at : $26.52 per hour

What You’ll Do

As an Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician, you will:

• Assist with disassembly of system components to correct failures or implement modifications
• Support troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify faults
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical and electrical components
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and assemblies
• Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to detailed specifications
• Assist with safe handling of aerospace vehicles and systems, including jacking, towing, and operations support
• Use tools, equipment, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately
• Maintain quality and safety standards throughout all repair and modification activities
• Document completed work and support production goals under supervision

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
• Ability to work off-shift schedules, including 2nd or 3rd shift as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with tools and following work instructions
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals when required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
• Minimum 1 year of experience soldering and assembling equipment components
• Minimum 1 year of experience using hand tools and/or power tools
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience working under a microscope
• Previous aerospace, manufacturing, or technical repair experience
