PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Production Control Coordinator to support our partnership with a global leader in the aviation industry in Jacksonville, FL. Position Details

• Job Title: Production Control Coordinator
• Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (9-Month Assignment)
• Location: Jacksonville, FL
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Pay Rate Starting at : $24.06 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Production Control Coordinator, you will:

• Process and move production materials into and out of storage, production, and operational areas
• Monitor work-in-process to ensure production flow remains on track
• Track part availability and communicate status updates using ERP systems and manual reporting methods
• Identify discrepancies with parts or materials and resolve issues using established procedures
• Coordinate with multiple departments to set priorities and expedite production needs
• Help prevent schedule delays by ensuring materials and resources are available when needed
• Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
• Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth coordination across operations teams
• Work under general supervision while managing daily priorities in a dynamic environment

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders
• Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following within an aviation environment:
  • MRO operations (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)
  • Materials management
  • Supply chain
  • Production control
• Minimum 2 years of experience using ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving mindset and passion for process improvement
• Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing with tools, shop supplies, or non-production materials
• Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift certification
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs. during an 8-hour shift
• Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, package, and unload materials throughout the shift
• Experience with logistics coordination, schedule management, and budget tracking
• Experience supporting commercial derivative aircraft platforms
• Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement methodologies
• Earned Value Management experience is a plus
