JOB TITLE: Test Engineer
LOCATION: White Sands Missile Range, NM
PAY RATE: $35/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (interim required to start; U.S. Citizenship required)

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Design and implement test methods and equipment

Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and test resources

Define test parameters and procedures for standard and specialized testing

Execute testing on customer samples and non-standard test cases

Compile and analyze test data to identify improvements

Recommend changes to test equipment, procedures, and manufacturing processes

Support testing in both lab and field environments, including remote locations

Operate and maintain test equipment and technical tools

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (interim required to start; U.S. Citizenship required)

Bachelor s degree in a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

Proficiency with Windows-based applications

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in dynamic environments

Experience using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)

Experience with technical hand tools (wire strippers, connectors, repair tools)

Ability to obtain CMV certification and safely operate/tow vehicles and trailers

Ability to work in physically demanding and remote environments

Understanding of safety, security, and environmental compliance procedures
