Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Develop and maintain component-level FMECA worksheets (MIL-STD-1629A or equivalent)
Identify failure modes, causes, and effects on system performance
Assign criticality rankings and define mitigation strategies
Update FMECA results throughout the product lifecycle and capture lessons learned
Define accelerated life test plans using models such as Arrhenius and Coffin-Manson
Coordinate and support test execution with internal labs
Analyze test data and provide reliability insights and recommendations
Support root cause analysis and risk assessments
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance to Start.
Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
1 3 years of hands-on reliability engineering experience
Experience with FMECA and accelerated aging/thermal cycling tests
Knowledge of reliability standards (MIL-STD-1629A, IEC 60812, etc.)
Understanding of failure physics, degradation mechanisms, and material behavior
Experience developing/interpreting test plans (ASTM, IEC, MIL standards)
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
FMECA & reliability analysis

Root cause analysis
Data analysis & statistical modeling
Technical documentation & reporting
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Model-Based Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo)
Familiarity with reliability software (ReliaSoft, Weibull++, ANSYS Reliability)
Experience with statistical tools (Minitab, R, Python)
Hands-on experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting
Ability to solve complex technical problems
Experience managing subcontractors or external partners
