JOB TITLE: Test Engineer
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $75.38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 2nd shift preferred; may transition to 1st shift after ~3 months (must be flexible)

Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance

Travel: Up to 20% (may include travel to Lufkin, TX)

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment

Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and equipment for testing activities

Define test parameters and specify testing requirements for standard and specialized devices

Execute and support test procedures, troubleshooting, and evaluations

Compile and analyze test data to identify improvements

Recommend changes to test equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or requirements

Perform testing on customer samples and specialized test cases not handled in standard test areas

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

6+ years of experience in Test Systems Development

6+ years of experience in test procedures, execution, and troubleshooting

6+ years of experience developing test requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
