JOB TITLE: Production Control Expeditor
LOCATION: Mesa, AZ
PAY RATE: $35/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

    Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production process

    Coordinate with Production and Configuration Management to ensure materials are available per schedule

    Utilize MRP/ERP systems to create job sequences, schedule work, and track performance

    Release jobs and support program execution

    Provide weekly status updates on job queues and material flow

    Enter and manage purchase requisitions for parts, materials, and tooling

    Manage domestic transportation, including hazardous and oversized freight

    Drive improvements in material forecasting and process automation

    Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and maintain production timelines

Requirements:

    Experience in production control, expediting, or material planning

    Strong background in material demand forecasting from high-level schedules

    Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment

    Proven ability to influence without direct authority

    Advanced Excel skills (macros preferred)

    Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred)

    Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

    High attention to detail and ability to work independently

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in aerospace or composite aircraft manufacturing

    Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools

    Experience handling hazardous or oversized freight logistics
