Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Lead investigations for FAA-related issues, including Letters of Investigation, Compliance Actions, Voluntary Disclosures, and Airworthiness Non-Compliances
Guide cross-functional engineering teams (Systems, Structures, Payloads, Propulsion) through root cause analysis (RCCA) and structured problem-solving
Develop and implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions, including verification of non-recurrence
Coordinate with internal teams, leadership, suppliers, and Organizational Designation Authorization (ODA) to ensure regulatory compliance
Communicate investigation status, risks, and resolutions to senior leadership and external stakeholders
Lead and influence cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of investigations
Support continuous improvement of compliance processes and enterprise tools
Requirements:
10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to lead, influence, and mentor cross-functional teams
Experience managing complex technical investigations and projects
Must meet Export Control requirements (U.S. Person status required)
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools (e.g., 5-Whys, Fishbone, BPSM)
Knowledge of FAA regulatory compliance and ODA procedures (8100.15)
Experience working with FAA or other regulatory agencies
Background in commercial aircraft systems or systems integration (e.g., Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Avionics, Fuels)
Familiarity with aircraft certification and safety requirements
Pilot s License and/or A&P License
