Job Title: Manufacturing Planner
Job Type: 12-Month Contract
Location: Hazelwood, MO
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate Starting at $41.12 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will support an MESci manufacturing planning rewrite within the BDS Fabrication organization while partnering with engineering, production, and supplier teams to drive operational success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations that define as-built configurations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and standardize manufacturing plans
• Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business objectives
• Integrate suppliers, materials, processes, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
• Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing compliance standards are met
• Define tooling requirements based on engineering and production needs
• Manage tooling from design through end-of-life disposition
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues quickly and effectively
• Perform producibility assessments for parts and product designs
• Provide input to improve cost, schedules, manufacturing processes, and technologies
• Develop integrated work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments
• Draft, revise, and review procedures supporting business and regulatory requirements

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of related manufacturing planning experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, and work instructions
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning
• Ability to work independently under general direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
• Experience with 3D model-based instruction
• Experience using tools such as Siemens NX, IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, or DELMIA
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci)
• Experience reviewing and approving engineering work such as installation plans, tool orders, and line stock checks
