Project Engineer Manager IV

Location: North Chesterfield, VA — Fully Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (with potential for weekend calls)
Pay Rate: $72.37/hr
As a Project Manager IV, you will own the successful delivery of technical energy projects from post‑sale through execution and closeout. You’ll lead cross‑functional teams, safeguard budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction remain top priorities. Your work will directly support critical solutions that power industries and communities worldwide.
Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams including design engineering, project engineering, supply chain, and workshop personnel
Own project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and gross margin performance
Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact cost, schedule, or delivery
Maintain accurate forecasting of revenue and costs throughout the full project lifecycle
Serve as the key liaison between vendors, supply chain, commercial stakeholders, and internal teams
Manage post‑sale commercial responsibilities including proposals, cost estimates, contracts, and purchase orders
Oversee procurement, planning, scheduling, and execution of materials and services
Ensure employee safety and quality remain top priorities during project execution
Use sound judgment and analytical thinking to solve problems and propose solutions beyond standard parameters
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant manufacturing or project management experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management and/or Materials Planning & Execution
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, procedures, and technical specifications
Working knowledge of project planning, budgets, and shop schedules
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (now or in the future)
Willingness to work onsite 100% and additional hours, weekends, or holidays as needed
Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Bachelor of Science degree
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Manufacturing or heavy industrial project experience
Experience with rotating power generation equipment or power plants
Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
Ability to lead and influence teams across multiple organizational levels
