Location: Phoenix, AZ | Payrate: $40- $50/hour | Schedule: 1st shift
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a Senior Pricing Analyst who thrives at the intersection of finance, strategy, and government contracting. In this role, you’ll shape competitive, compliant pricing strategies that directly influence contract wins, revenue growth, and long-term business success across U.S. and international markets.
What You’ll Do
As a key contributor to proposal success, you’ll lead pricing efforts that balance profitability with customer value—while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Develop and submit FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 / TINA-compliant proposals for U.S. Government, prime contractors, and international customers
Sign 1411 coversheets and support final pricing certifications for regulated proposals
Partner with Finance, Contracts, Program Management, Sales, and Operations to build compelling pricing strategies
Support audits and data requests from DCAA, DCMA, and prime contractors
Contribute to competitive analyses, risk mitigation plans, and negotiation strategies
Provide pricing guidance and negotiation support to business teams
Analyze financial data to drive both top-line growth and margin expansion
Develop pricing for transactional spares, repairs, and other customer needs
Build financial models and business cases to support strategic decisions
Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing processes and organizational effectiveness
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
2.5+ years of government/defense experience OR 5+ years in pricing, finance, accounting, or business analysis
Strong knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and government procurement practices
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems such as SAP
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cost accounting, pricing, or finance within a government/defense environment
Proven ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Strong financial modeling and data interpretation skills
Experience aligning pricing strategies with broader business or market strategies
Background in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma
Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and identify opportunities
