What You’ll Do

As a Ticket Counter Agent, you’ll play a critical role in daily airport operations:

  • Provide top-tier customer service for ticketing, check-in, and passenger assistance
  • Manage baggage check and routing to appropriate destinations
  • Issue boarding passes and prepare passenger manifests
  • Make clear and timely public announcements for arrivals and departures
  • Verify passenger identification in compliance with security protocols
  • Coordinate with flight crews, operations teams, and airport personnel
  • Handle delays due to weather or mechanical issues with professionalism and urgency
  • Process claims for lost, delayed, or damaged baggage
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive passenger information
  • Support boarding procedures to ensure timely departures
  • Assist passengers requiring additional services or accommodations
  • Collaborate with airlines and airport teams during disruptions
  • Keep ticket counter and office spaces clean, organized, and professional
  • Prepare operational reports and assist with administrative tasks

Work Schedule

  • Flexible shifts based on flight schedules:
    • 4:30 AM – 1:30 PM
    • 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Primarily Monday–Friday with occasional weekends
  • Overtime and holiday work may be required

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience with public interaction
  • At least 3 years in a customer service role
  • Ability to obtain a SIDA (Secure Identification Display Area) badge
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, overtime, and holidays
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of aviation or ticket counter experience
  • Familiarity with Sabre, Apollo, Fast Air, or similar systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of airport operations or North Slope logistics
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Pay Details: $23.58 to $27.86 per hour
