Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •6+ years experience Test Systems Development •6+ years experience Test Procedure, Execution and Troubleshooting •6+ years experience Developing Test Requirements
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. •Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. •Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. • Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. •Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited Bachelor's Degree
WORK HOURS: •Full-Time •4/10 work schedule •This position is open to accommodating 1st shift work when needed. Second shift preferred, but will switch to first shift after about 3 months.
