Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve plant and production efficiency

Develop and optimize facility and equipment layouts for maximum utilization of space and personnel

Conduct studies on cost control, cost reduction, inventory management, and production systems

Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and process improvements

Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Assist in establishing safety and accident prevention measures

Support or lead training programs related to production operations

Collaborate with facilities engineering on planning and design efforts

Utilize data analytics and statistical methods to drive decision-making

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3+ years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment

6+ years of experience in factory layout and design

6+ years of experience developing large-scale equipment and workspace layouts to improve productivity and reduce waste

6+ years of experience in work measurement and time standards

6+ years of experience with work measurement techniques (e.g., PMTS, work sampling, direct time study)

Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

6+ years of experience in data analytics and statistical analysis

6+ years of experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
