QA Inspector

Location: Park City, KS | Payrate: $25 - $33/hour (includes shift differential) | Schedule: Mon –Thurs 4:30pm - 3am

Your Work Ensures Every Part Takes Flight Safely
As a QA Inspector, you are the final line of defense in aerospace manufacturing. Your attention to detail ensures every machined, fabricated, and assembled component meets exact customer specifications—protecting performance, safety, and reliability at every stage of production.
What You’ll Do Every Day
You’ll play a hands-on role in validating quality across the production lifecycle:
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on aerospace components
Interpret blueprints, mylars, engineering orders, and technical documentation
Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.) to verify dimensions
Conduct Rockwell hardness and conductivity testing (certification required)
Review and validate part conformity to customer specifications
Complete and maintain quality documentation, including FAI reports and Certificates of Conformance
Input inspection data into systems and scan work orders across departments
Review CMM reports and correlate findings with manual inspections (Level II)
Support and train junior inspectors (Level II)
Ensure compliance with hazardous material handling and disposal procedures
Participate in cross-functional quality improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inspection environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Shop floor environment with exposure to machine noise and metal dust
Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motion
Lift up to 50 lbs. independently (more with assistance)
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in an aerospace machining or inspection environment (Level I)
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Proficiency with precision measuring tools
Solid math skills and data accuracy
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Based on Level)
Level I:
Experience as a machinist or inspector in aerospace manufacturing
Willingness to obtain certifications (Rockwell, conductivity, etc.)
Level II:
3+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector in aerospace manufacturing
Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Experience reviewing CMM reports and performing correlated inspections
Ability to review and approve first article inspections
Experience training and mentoring junior inspectors
Familiarity with Net-Inspect and manufacturing software systems
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word)
