PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled and motivated Product Repair/Modification Technician to join a leading aviation organization in Mesa, AZ. In this full-time, 12-month consulting role, you’ll work on critical aerospace components that directly support aircraft readiness and mission success.
Partnering with a global leader in aviation, you’ll help ensure that complex mechanical systems are repaired, modified, and tested to the highest standards of safety and precision.
What You’ll Do
As a Product Repair/Modification Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining and restoring essential aerospace systems. Your work ensures aircraft components perform reliably in demanding environments.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Assisting with disassembly of system components to support failure correction and design modifications
Performing basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical issues
Repairing and replacing faulty components to restore system functionality
Conducting validation and verification testing on repaired systems and components
Fabricating and modifying aerospace products according to technical specifications
Supporting safe handling operations of aerospace vehicles, including jacking, towing, and system operations
Performing repair, modification, and assembly of AH-64 mechanical components
Working under supervision while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards
Maintaining regular and predictable attendance as a critical part of operational support
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to successfully complete certification training in:
Torque practices
Safetying practices
Mixing and sealant application
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a hands-on environment
Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
Ability to work full schedule with overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in aerospace, aviation maintenance, or mechanical repair
Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems
Experience working in structured manufacturing or production environments
Exposure to military or defense aviation platforms (such as rotorcraft systems)

Pay Details: $26.79 per hour
