PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled and motivated Product Repair/Modification Technician to join a leading aviation organization in Mesa, AZ. In this full-time, 12-month consulting role, you’ll work on critical aerospace components that directly support aircraft readiness and mission success.

Partnering with a global leader in aviation, you’ll help ensure that complex mechanical systems are repaired, modified, and tested to the highest standards of safety and precision.

What You’ll Do

As a Product Repair/Modification Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining and restoring essential aerospace systems. Your work ensures aircraft components perform reliably in demanding environments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assisting with disassembly of system components to support failure correction and design modifications
• Performing basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical issues
• Repairing and replacing faulty components to restore system functionality
• Conducting validation and verification testing on repaired systems and components
• Fabricating and modifying aerospace products according to technical specifications
• Supporting safe handling operations of aerospace vehicles, including jacking, towing, and system operations
• Performing repair, modification, and assembly of AH-64 mechanical components
• Working under supervision while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards
• Maintaining regular and predictable attendance as a critical part of operational support

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to successfully complete certification training in:
  • Torque practices
  • Safetying practices
  • Mixing and sealant application
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a hands-on environment
• Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
• Ability to work full schedule with overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in aerospace, aviation maintenance, or mechanical repair
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems
• Experience working in structured manufacturing or production environments
• Exposure to military or defense aviation platforms (such as rotorcraft systems)
