Aircraft Structural Assemblers
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring experienced Aircraft Structural Assemblers to support advanced aircraft production in North Charleston.
This role requires strong structural assembly experience, close-tolerance drilling skills, and the ability to work with composite and metallic aircraft materials. Location: North Charleston, SC
Pay: Starting at $40.00/HR (Based on experience)
Shift: Must be open to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
Perform complex structural assembly on aircraft parts, subassemblies, and major structures
Drill, ream, trim, shim, and install fasteners in close-tolerance applications
Work with CFRP (composites), aluminum, and titanium materials
Install and remove a variety of aerospace fasteners
Set up and validate jigs, fixtures, and tooling
Use calibrated precision measuring instruments
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and detailed work instructions
Support production schedules with consistent, reliable attendance
Hi-speed and lo-speed drills
Pneumatic and electric drill motors
Nut runners and Quackenbush tools
Precision measuring equipment
Assembly fixtures and structural tooling
7+ years of experience in aerospace structural assembly or advanced manufacturing
Strong experience with hand, power, and pneumatic tools
Experience performing close-tolerance structural drilling and fastener installation
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, web-based systems)
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Comfortable working in confined spaces, elevated platforms, and physically demanding positions
Willingness to work any shift as assigned
Fast-paced aerospace production setting
Work may include confined spaces and elevated areas
Exposure to industrial materials and chemicals (PPE required)
Overtime may be available based on production needs
