PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading organization in the aviation industry to hire a dedicated Production Coordinator for a full-time, 6-month consultant opportunity supporting the F-15 MMO program in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you’ll help ensure the right materials, schedules, and processes are in place to support mission-ready aircraft production. Your work directly contributes to quality, efficiency, and the successful delivery of one of the most advanced defense aviation programs in the world.

What You’ll Do

As a Production Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing materials and supporting production flow by:

• Routing materials to designated storage locations following established procedures
• Conducting inventory checks and reporting any damage or deterioration
• Issuing, removing, and preparing materials for shipment as needed
• Reviewing production schedules to ensure materials and hardware are available to meet deadlines
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving material, inventory, and scheduling issues
• Coordinating solutions to maintain quality standards, production timelines, and cost targets
• Ordering parts, tools, materials, and equipment when required
• Supporting compliance with safety regulations, tool control, FOD prevention, and facility standards
• Performing occasional in-depth analysis of complex material and configuration issues
• Maintaining accurate records related to inventory control and production requirements
• Collaborating with supervisors and team members to support program and company objectives

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–4 years of experience in warehouse inventory, materials handling, or production coordination
• Strong computer skills and general technical proficiency
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly (and up to 50 lbs with assistance when needed)
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, elevated platforms, and varying environmental conditions
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders or platforms
• Ability to pass vision and color perception testing
• Capability to work around noise, metals, and occasional hazardous materials
• Must be able to support physical demands of a dynamic production environment
