Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer 2 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters- Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program. Understanding the types of network cables. Troubleshooting skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written PPE: Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Network design and implementations Outside Plant and Inside Plant cabling. Develop scope of work.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
WORK HOURS: 5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:00AM-3:30 PM
