JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

PAY RATE: $65 $95/hour (OT40 eligible)

Job Type: Contract (Up to 7 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Ability to obtain required

Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week (3 days/week, 8 hours/day)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Automate and manage product builds for each new core release

Convert builds into RPM packages and support third-party certifications

Maintain and update Labsys drivers and releases

Manage SSEE releases, including containerization and system updates

Oversee:

Jira (JRA) tracking and workflows

Nexus repository management (RPMs)

GitLab build pipelines and tools (LMI & EDN)

Support SLES12 release management and phase out Conda environments

Contribute to Tableau reporting for Aero SST O&M and IT projects

Submit and manage security approvals (SIS forms, EFOSS requests, Service Central)

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and build issues

Requirements:

Ability to obtain security clearance

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Programming: Python, C++

Systems & Configuration: Bash, XML, CMake, Make, environment management

Experience with CI/CD tools and repositories (GitLab, Nexus)

Familiarity with Linux environments (SLES preferred)

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
