Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Apply established standards to new work instructions.

Update precedence networks to support tooling and production scheduling decisions.

Create and maintain engineering performance metrics.

Integrate modular tooling into production systems.

Analyze current and future business environments; develop forecasts, acquisition strategies, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.

Develop and maintain complex Business System factory definitions for manufacturing planning.

Develop labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages using labor standards, design drawing reviews, and coordination with Tooling and Production Operations.

Monitor performance and ensure alignment with operational goals.

Participate in the development of integrated master schedules (e.g., crew cycling, learning curves, shift analysis, optimal crew size, tooling capacity).

Develop tool and position plans, including documentation for tool downtimes and rate flow.

Identify and implement process improvements using established methodologies to maximize efficiency of equipment and personnel.

Analyze deviations from approved plans caused by unplanned events.

Assess impacts to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.

Develop and obtain approval for modifications to existing plans.

Participate in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations regarding schedule commitments and scope impacts.

Develop, implement, maintain, and report on integrated shop operating plans to optimize efficiency, reduce inventory, and meet cost and schedule commitments.

Support and enhance shop performance metrics by analyzing data and recommending actionable improvements for Production and Tooling Management.

Requirements:

Ability to Obtain Security Clearance

Level 3: Typically 6 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master s degree with 4+ years of experience, or 10+ years of related experience).

Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
