PAY RATE: $26.93/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Fabricate and install upholstery components, including panels, curtains, and simple covers per engineering drawings

    Work with fabric, vinyl, leather, composites, and related materials using adhesives, sewing equipment, and hand/power tools

    Cut and surge carpets; cover bulkheads and install panels

    Assist with fabrication and installation of interior components such as sidewalls, headliners, hatch panels, and window assemblies

    Use material tracking systems to create part demand, track issues (squawks), and sign off completed work

    Collaborate with team members to improve processes, safety, and efficiency using Lean principles

    Maintain compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards

    Identify and address unsafe conditions

Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED required

    2+ years of experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, and upholstery tools

    Experience in aerospace industry preferred

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation

    Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools

    Computer literacy required

    Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift

    Strong communication skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
