Job Type: Contract (Up to 6 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Schedule: 4/10 1st Shift (Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM; core hours 9:00 AM 3:00 PM)

Summary:
Lead quality execution for proposals, including Basis of Estimate (BOE), contract review, program start-up, production, and support
Ensure compliance with quality standards across software, cybersecurity, and test engineering
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customers)
Support proposals for Guided Missiles, Launcher, and Advanced Programs
Assist in establishing quality budgets and cost commitments
Participate in key reviews (RAC, BOE reviews, DCAA audits, customer negotiations, executive reviews)
Work closely with software and test engineering teams to ensure quality from requirements through validation
Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions, including audits and evaluations
Conduct peer reviews of requirements, design, code, and documentation
Collaborate with suppliers and support program reviews and test events
Support continuous improvement of SSQE processes and quality systems
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Science, etc.) required
8+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Engineering
8+ years of experience developing proposals and BOE using SME judgment and historical data
8+ years supporting proposal activities and meeting deadlines
8+ years of experience with software and test equipment processes
8+ years of experience across Requirements, Design, Code, and Proof & Validation (P&V) testing
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to travel as required and support off-hours or on-call program needs
Safety shoes may be required during the assignment (not required to start)
