Pay Rate:Starting at $41.83 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Manufacturing Planner for an exciting second-shift opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will play a critical role in production readiness and execution by:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Material (BOM), work instructions, and illustrations
Defining and documenting as-built aircraft configurations
Supporting mechanics with clarification on planning, engineering drawings, and specifications
Integrating suppliers, materials, data, processes, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery goals
Reviewing and approving supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements
Developing tooling requirements and managing tooling from design through end-of-use disposition
Investigating and resolving manufacturing-related issues on the production floor
Performing producibility assessments for parts and product designs
Creating integrated work statements and sequencing events to meet production schedules
Drafting, updating, and reviewing procedures to support business and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Manufacturing Planner experience
5+ years of CAD software experience
Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D drawings, engineering data, and specifications
Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
Ability to obtain customer approval for access
Willingness to complete an extensive background review including employment, finances, residences, and related history
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Planner experience
Experience with Gold ESP and MESCI systems
Familiarity with IVT, REDARS, and WIRS tools
Education & Experience:
Typically acquired through advanced education (Associate degree or higher) and 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
