Location: Hybrid – Greenville, SC (in-office 2–3 days per week)
Schedule: 1st Shift (flexible start times between 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $60.00/hour
In this role, you’ll serve as a critical technical leader, influencing major engineering and financial outcomes across complex generator projects. You’ll act as the bridge between customers, engineering teams, and project stakeholders—ensuring seamless execution, innovation, and delivery excellence.
As a Project Engineer operating at a Project Manager III level, you will:
Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, EPC partners, and internal teams
Lead coordination of engineering activities and resolve complex technical challenges
Drive continuous improvement by capturing and implementing lessons learned
Conduct Customer Kick-Off Meetings (CKOMs) and Design Liaison Meetings
Interpret and communicate contract requirements across engineering functions
Evaluate scope changes, including cost and schedule impacts, and manage change orders
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to prevent delays or cost overruns
Manage engineering budgets and provide financial forecasts (EACs)
Support cross-functional teams including supply chain, manufacturing, and field services
Present project updates, risks, and solutions to senior leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, or Field Engineering (generator-related preferred)
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Experience with large-scale energy, power generation, or industrial projects
Familiarity with EPC environments and cross-functional engineering coordination
Proven track record of influencing technical and financial project outcomes
Experience with cost estimation, scheduling, and change management processes
