Pay Rate: from $84 to $97 per hour

This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer ready to lead enterprise-level initiatives, shape production strategy, and influence the future of advanced aerospace manufacturing.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Level 5), you won’t just support production—you’ll define how it evolves. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance throughput, reduce cost, and elevate quality across complex manufacturing systems. Your expertise will help scale production for next-generation aerospace platforms while setting the standard for operational excellence.
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for manufacturing processes across multiple programs
Define and implement advanced manufacturing strategies (lean, automation, DFMA, digital thread)
Lead production readiness planning, risk mitigation, and performance metrics for program ramp-ups
Drive investments in tooling, automation, and capital equipment, including business case development
Establish standardized processes and scalable solutions across production lines
Lead complex problem-solving initiatives, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Represent manufacturing in design and program reviews, influencing early product decisions
Mentor and guide engineering teams; review and approve technical deliverables and process documentation
Utilize data analytics, simulation, and model-based tools for process validation and capacity planning
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, supply chain, production) to meet schedule and cost targets
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven ability to lead large-scale manufacturing initiatives and cross-functional teams
Willingness to work 100% onsite and support assigned shift
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related discipline
15+ years of progressive experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
Expertise in lean manufacturing, automation/robotics, and digital manufacturing tools
Experience with tools such as CREO, CATIA, MES, DELMIA, FlexSim, ProModel
Familiarity with model-based enterprise (MBD/MBE) and MES Common Image (MESci)
Strong background in project/program leadership, including budget and schedule management
Experience with supplier integration, qualification, and production transfers
Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Systems Engineering, or PMP
Demonstrated success in mentoring engineers and leading technical reviews
