Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (4-Month Assignment)
Max Pay Rate: Up to $37.31/hour

We are seeking skilled Production Painters who take pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship. In this role, your work directly contributes to the safety, performance, and visual excellence of aircraft trusted around the world.
As a Production Painter, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by applying high‑quality finishes to aircraft components and assemblies. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
Applying coatings and finishes to aircraft, assemblies, parts, and test coupons
Performing surface preparation using hand tools or pneumatic sanders
Conducting painting, media blasting, masking, stenciling, and part identification marking
Working from blueprints, process instructions, customer specifications, job aids, and work instructions
Performing self‑inspections of in‑process and finished work to ensure customer requirements are met
Entering required data into the FDAQ database
Supporting rework, pickup, and incorporation of design or process changes
Maintaining clean, organized paint booths, mix rooms, and work areas under “Clean as You Go” standards
Performing routine minor equipment maintenance, including cleaning paint equipment
Moving parts and assemblies using shop‑assigned equipment such as ovens and overhead cranes
Complying with all company, customer, OSHA, ISO, Nadcap, and safety policies
Assisting with audits, training peers, and supporting continuous production flow
Supporting Assembly Technicians and other team members as needed
Proven experience as an Aircraft Painter or in a comparable aviation painting role
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and written/verbal instructions
Knowledge of coating applications, surface preparation, and inspection processes
Ability to work safely from elevated platforms (lifts, scaffolding, ladders)
Familiarity with MSDS data and workplace safety requirements
Willingness to maintain required certifications, licenses, or permits
Experience in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment
Familiarity with FDAQ or similar quality data systems
Experience supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives
