Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

Identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.

Conducts producibility analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

Provides producibility information for project plans and documents producibility best practices.

Analyzes design and build concepts to evaluate producible design and build definitions.

Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.

Creates manufacturing plans including work instructions, kitting, tooling, and inspection requirements.

Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.

Implements lean principles and technologies for process improvement.

Collaborates with Supplier Management to establish lab test integration requirements and opportunities.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited course.

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing.

Prior experience working on Boeing Manufacturing System.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects or teams.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.

Preferred: Experience with space or military electronics.

Preferred: Experience with manufacturing tools (PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, GOLDesp).
