Summary:
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
Develop conceptual designs and maintain program architecture for production builds
Conduct producibility analyses to ensure manufacturing processes meet design requirements
Provide producibility input for project planning and document best practices
Analyze design and build concepts to ensure manufacturability
Resolve technical issues impacting performance, cost, and schedule
Develop and maintain manufacturing plans
Validate production readiness and implement solutions for complex manufacturing challenges
Apply lean manufacturing principles and technologies to improve efficiency
Collaborate with Supplier Management to establish lab test integration requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor s, Master s, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field (accredited program)
Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing
Experience with Manufacturing Systems
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role
3+ years of experience leading or managing projects or teams
Experience with space or military electronics
Experience with manufacturing tools such as PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, and GOLDesp
