Summary:
Lead a small multidisciplinary engineering team in the design, development, certification, and delivery of automated test equipment
Serve as the technical authority and advocate for complex system designs across program, functional, and customer organizations
Collaborate across engineering and program teams to define and execute design, analysis, and testing activities within cost and schedule constraints
Oversee full product lifecycle activities, including system design, integration, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems
Ensure successful execution of key program milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QRR)
Work onsite full-time with flexibility to coordinate personal commitments as needed
Requirements:
Active DoD Secret clearance required
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience, or Master s degree with 6+ years of experience
Experience with product lifecycle design, integration, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems
Experience supporting major engineering milestones (System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Qualification Readiness Review)
Ability to work onsite in King of Prussia, PA
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong leadership experience in dynamic, new development environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and direct team execution
Experience collaborating with military customers
Experience with estimating, scheduling, and basis of estimates development
Ability to write, derive, and verify system requirements
Experience conducting or supporting technical trade studies
Experience defining system architecture from requirements
Background in environmental testing
Ability to align team skills with technical program needs
Hardware integration (e.g., boards, chassis, test racks)
Software integration onto hardware platforms
Familiarity with missile or satellite systems or associated test equipment
Experience with failure investigations and root cause analysis
Knowledge of mechanical or electrical worst-case analysis
