PAY RATE: $22 $95/hour (OT eligible)

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (with investigation within the last 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) required to start
Schedule: 4/10 workweek Monday Thursday, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM (overtime potential)

Summary:
Develop and implement manufacturing processes for fabrication, assembly, machining, and installation
Create and analyze 3D model-based data (CATIA V5) to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions
Resolve discrepancy repairs in production, including first-time build challenges
Define operational procedures and build sequences to improve efficiency and quality
Evaluate performance of equipment, tools, and systems (including IoT-enabled devices) and implement corrective actions
Leverage factory data to develop statistical process control methods and support continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Planning, and Scheduling teams
Support flight line and depot maintenance activities as needed
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance (with investigation within the last 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) required to start
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer (non-planning role)
Experience with CATIA V5
Strong background in structural assembly and aviation/aerospace environments
Experience resolving discrepancy repairs in production
Experience in manufacturing environments with cross-functional collaboration
Experience with manufacturing processes such as fabrication, assembly, machining, electrical systems, composites, metallics, bonded assemblies, and/or installations
Experience with MRP systems, SAP, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Program-specific special access required to start
Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in flight line and depot maintenance
Background in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
Experience driving adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies (automation, robotics, CAM software, etc.)
Ability to provide input to product design for manufacturability and process optimization
