Work Schedule: Monday Thursday, 5:00 AM 3:30 PM (EST)

Summary:
Perform precise manual soldering and touch-up operations on SMT assemblies using soldering irons, hot-air tools, reflow equipment, and solder-pot systems
Identify, classify, and repair common solder defects (e.g., tombstoning, bridging, voids, insufficient wetting, solder balls)
Conduct visual inspections and utilize AOI systems to verify solder quality and ensure compliance with specifications
Maintain and calibrate soldering tools, reflow ovens, and related equipment in accordance with quality standards
Document defect trends, corrective actions, and process improvements within the Quality Management System
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety, ESD, and environmental protocols
Requirements:
Proven, documented experience in soldering and SMT assembly
Experience with soldering equipment and touch-up/rework processes
Ability to read and write English
Must pass a required medical exam as outlined in the supplier guidelines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Current or prior IPC and J-STD certifications
Experience with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems
