Pay Rate: $50.48/hour
Shift: 1st – Monday – Friday

About the Role
PDS Tech is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineers for our client Honeywell to join their in Clearwater, Florida. In this role, you will report directly to the Quality Manager and play a key part in driving supplier quality improvements, conducting audits, and leading root cause analysis and corrective actions. This is a high‑impact position supporting manufacturing excellence and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Honeywell quality standards
Conduct supplier audits to assess capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
Evaluate supplier performance and monitor quality metrics
Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers
Review manufacturing processes and propose continuous improvement ideas
Read and interpret engineering drawings to disposition hardware non‑conformities
Support leadership efforts to build strong, inclusive teams through talent development and employee engagement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role
Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and methodologies
Experience conducting supplier audits and improving supplier performance
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Experience using root cause corrective action tools
Strong project management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers
Experience in manufacturing operations involving CCA, PWB, or avionics
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field
Experience leading supplier development initiatives
Six Sigma certification or working knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
