PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer). In this role, you’ll be the vital link between engineering design and production—resolving real-time issues, ensuring compliance with design intent, and helping maintain the safety and performance of advanced aircraft systems. Your expertise will directly influence product quality and mission readiness.

What You’ll Do

You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering and manufacturing, tackling complex challenges with precision and urgency:

• Research and apply engineering design principles to resolve product and process issues in production and in-service environments
• Conduct analyses and root cause investigations for design non-conformances
• Develop and document engineering dispositions to ensure compliance and safety
• Support system owners in preparing clear, technical communications
• Analyze fleet and production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Evaluate customer findings to drive product and process enhancements
• Identify deviations that could impact design intent or safety and support corrective actions
• Participate in Material Review Boards (MRB) and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
• Assist in designing interim structural repairs to restore components to original strength capability

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
• Prior MRB (Material Review Board) authorization
• Level 3 experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
  • Equivalent experience with a Master’s degree
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environments
• Prior MRB authorization within Aviation Defense programs
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
• Proven hands-on problem-solving capabilities
