Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Lead and manage engineering projects of major complexity within an established scope.

Make authoritative technical decisions and recommendations that significantly impact large-scale engineering activities.

Apply advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts based on broad expertise or specialized knowledge.

Drive the development of innovative ideas and engineering solutions.

Independently identify and implement improved methods and procedures to optimize product performance, cost, and schedule.

Operate with consultative direction while exercising strong independent judgment to achieve objectives.

Develop standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities.

Plan and lead investigations into complex, high-impact areas where little or no engineering precedent exists.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the role

13 years of experience in a specific technical discipline or 15 years of broad engineering experience across multiple technical disciplines with a Bachelor s degree

Advanced degree credit may be applied: up to 2 years for a Master s degree and up to 4 years for a PhD in a relevant field

Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field preferred

Technical skill level and competencies for this role will be defined by the specific engineering discipline

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
