Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $47.00 /hour
Job Type: Full-Time, 8-Month Contract

As a Composite/Interior Composite Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of aerospace innovation—ensuring the materials and processes used in aircraft interiors meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and performance. Your expertise will directly impact product reliability and passenger experience, making you a key contributor to next-generation aviation solutions.
In this technical, problem-solving role, you will:
Evaluate parts, materials, processes, and equipment through research and testing to ensure compliance with specifications
Analyze failed components and processes to identify root causes and prevent future issues
Develop and execute test plans; document findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Categorize and track failures, driving corrective and preventive actions
Propose, develop, and validate updates to engineering procedures and specifications
Determine the suitability of materials and processes for aerospace applications
Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues and ensure quality standards
Support continuous improvement by designing, developing, testing, and implementing new technologies and concepts
Provide technical guidance and consultation to internal teams and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
Associate (AA) degree in a technical field
3+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with testing, evaluation, and failure analysis
Comfortable using computers and technical systems
Ability to document technical findings clearly and accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with composite materials, especially in aerospace interiors
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material qualification standards
Background in failure analysis and root cause investigation
Experience collaborating with suppliers or customers on technical issues
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
